Turkey, anyone?

I listed this cute turkey in my Etsy shop recently! Check it out if you want one... or more. Unfortunately, these turkeys aren't stuffed with Stouffer's stuffing. ;) But, they are filled with lots of love!

My Quilt for Craft Hope!

Ta Da! I have finished my 3rd quilt! This is my finished quilt for Craft Hope Project #5. I will be sending it out tomorrow! I did a kind of "I Spy" quilt, but using bigger pieces of fabric. Wow, using big pieces sure made it faster! :) Can you tell I was feeling like adding some Fall colors in this quilt? I love the orange, yellow and brown fabrics! The "I Spy" animals are: cats, monkeys, frogs, fish, and horses. I had most of this fabric on hand since I am planning on making an "I Spy" quilt for my son... eventually! ;) This one will be helping to keep a homeless child warm this winter, as well as making my heart feel warm knowing that I am helping in this amazing cause! My Newest Sock Animal Creation!

I had a friend request a sock hippo, and although I've never made one before, I thought it should be relatively easy. So here he is! I will be making more like him soon, and selling them in my Etsy shop. What do you think? :)

My Second Quilt!

Here's the second quilt I've made... this one is for my other niece. I had planned on giving this to her for Christmas. But, when her invitation arrived in the mail with "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" theme, I thought this would be perfect to give to her for her birthday! :) I am so excited for her to open it! When I saw this fabric, I was SOOO excited to make a quilt out of it! It is toddler-sized, but she will be able to use it as a throw quilt later on. Here's the front:

...and the back:

I still have a lot to learn when it comes to quilting, but I think with each one I make, I am slowly improving. :)
