Well, when I'm not feeling sick, I am slowly working on a string quilt just for me. I know, selfish, right? ;) Some days I feel like the sickness is subsiding, but I don't want to get too excited. I'm in my second trimester now, and patiently waiting for that "feel good" time when I'll have more energy to get more stuff done.

I'm using only Anna Maria Horner's fabrics from the Little Folks Voile collection, with a little strip of white in the middle. It is SO gorgeous, and I think this quilt will be luxurious once it is all done. I got my inspiration here at one of my favorite blogs to follow. So far, I only have 9 blocks done... a little over a row. I'm thinking I'll do 8 blocks by 10 blocks for a total of 80 blocks of 7.5" each. I was originally going to make it bigger, but I'm chickening out. Here's an example of what 4 blocks together will look like:

I'm also slowly working on other little projects. I haven't started anything for baby #2 yet, as I'm waiting to find out if we're having a boy or a girl. I'm secretly hoping to be able to make some frilly pink stuff this time, but I know I'll be happy as long as we have a healthy baby. :)
More soon, I hope!
